Worth Sharing: How our Art is Wired to our Culture

Fascinating find in the internet, apparently there is a Google AI project that I missed November last year named, Quick, Draw. The project is presented as a game which challenges you to draw things ranging from aircraft carrier to a zigzag as quickly as possible. Over 15 million played the game which resulted to 50 million drawings.

Going over the data, I was interested to know how people around the world draw the television. Yes, the TV. The result is astonishing. From 117, 704 drawings of television, almost, almost all have antenna on them. When was the last time you saw a TV with antenna on them? Crazy right.

The earliest designs of television have become so iconic and impacted humans that our idea of it is a step back behind the technology.

So cool.
